We provide [$20] incentives for completing the survey and [$5] for the follow-up survey as a token of appreciation. Depending on your recruitment of others, there may be additional incentives up to [$30].
The survey lasts about 15 minutes to complete, and the follow-up survey takes about 5 minutes.
Without a unique number, we cannot verify your eligibility and cannot assist you when you experience issues accessing the survey.
You may wonder why we don’t just recruit from Korean organizations, establishments, or events. The reason why we ask you to invite other people is that this type of recruitment excludes Koreans not associated with them. Our study attempts to test whether social networks in Korean communities help more inclusive recruitment, generating data that are more representative.
Hence your inviting others is critical for the success of our study.
If you have any issues with the unique number, please contact us.

We understand that our study will not be able to include those not on the Internet. However, according to the data from the U.S. Census Bureau, 94.7% of the Korean Americans live in households with Internet access as of 2017. Even though not perfect, Internet survey is the most feasible approach to study Koreans across the country.
